There are many ways in which you can support our projects and the people of Lamu County.
Could you commit to donating £35 per year to our foundation?
Your annual donation will create stability in our ability to pay our monthly expenses of tuition fees, food aid and medications
We are committed to providing a sustainable and living wage to our social worker so that she can continue to help and engage with our community and vulnerable people for many years to come.
A regular donation will give us the opportunity to not only provide her with a living wage, but facilitate her Continuing Professional Development and training so that she can give the best, evidence-based care available.
We have many children in our care in Lamu County who sadly do not have families or stable home environments.
For £5 per month you would be providing the funds to pay for not only their basic food and health needs, but their school fees and give them a chance at an independent and sustainable future.
From cake sales to raffles to craft fairs and car boot sales – could you fundraise for one of our projects?
We have lots of resources and help available for you to organise a fundraising event
We are always looking for good quality clothes and shoes to take to Lamu County on our annual trip.
Do you have anything suitable lurking in the back of your wardrobe?
We also welcome one-off donations via PayPal which can be put into our general foundation fund, or you can choose a project to direct it to.
Don’t forget to Gift Aid!
Some of our larger projects require a bigger investment.
We would invite you to contact us directly to discuss how your business could support one of our larger projects such as the training and employing of a district nurse, or the building of our local school.
Is your school looking for a new charity this year to support?
We welcome discussions about how to work with you to create educational value in this partnership.
From guest speakers at assemblies to establishing a pen pal scheme – we’d love to hear from you
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
We would love to hear from you
