St Margaret Life’s Hope Foundation was established more than 20 years ago by Margaret Farman and her family.
Born and raised in a small village in Lamu County, Kenya, Margaret has spent her life supporting vulnerable people and helping communities access the opportunities they deserve. After moving to England to raise her family, she continued this commitment by building a Foundation rooted in compassion, dignity, and practical action.
Today, we are a registered charity in both the United Kingdom and Kenya, working alongside children, families, and vulnerable individuals throughout Lamu County.
To reduce inequality and restore hope through education, healthcare, food, shelter, and practical support for communities across Lamu County.
A future where every child can learn, every family can thrive, and every person has the opportunity to live with dignity and independence.
Compassion, dignity, community partnership, safeguarding, sustainability, and lasting impact.
